3 tip to save Ipad battery life

3 tip to save Ipad battery life

The Apple Ipad has a built-in lithium-ion polymer battery; 25 W·h capable of 10 hours of video play or 140 hours of music or the impressive 1-month standby.

The iPad uses a lithium-ion polymer battery that loses capacity over time. The battery is not designed to be user-replaceable. Apple will replace an iPad that does not hold an electrical charge for a fee of US$99

Here are 3 quick tips to save Ipad’s battery life

1. Turn off Wi-Fi and 3G and Bluetooth
All these eat up lot of battery so it’s better to turn them while you are not using them.

2. Lower the brightness level
Ever if Ipad has an ambient light sensor its better to decrease the brightness of the screen manually
adjust the brightness of the screen depending of the surrounding light. Drop the lighting level between 20% to 30% .

3. Turn off sound effects
Ipad’s battery is capable of 140 hours of music. Turning off sound saves a lot of battery.

Apple Ipad preview

Tomorrow is the big day. We are now just a day away from the public release of the Apple iPad
If you are in the US, you will get the first opportunity to buy an iPad. The rest of the world will have to wait some weeks.

But what is an Ipad?

The iPad is a tablet computer developed by Apple Inc. Announced on January 27, 2010, it is positioned in a category between a smartphone and a laptop computer.

Similar in functionality to a larger and more powerful iPhone or iPod touch, it runs a modified version of the same operating system (iPhone OS),[8][9] with a user interface redesigned to take advantage of the larger screen.[10] The iPad has a 9.7-inch (25 cm) LED backlit multi-touch display, 16 to 64 gigabytes (GB) of flash memory, Bluetooth, and a 30-pin dock connector to sync with iTunes and connect wired accessories.[3] Two models have been announced: one with 802.11n Wi-Fi and one with 802.11n Wi-Fi and 3G (which can connect to HSDPA cellular networks), and Assisted GPS. Both models may be purchased with three different storage capacities

So there are two Ipad models ,the Ipad Wi-Fi and the Ipad Wi-Fi + 3G, with three different storage capacities. Let’s have a look at the Ipad models and how much they cost.

Wi-Fi Only Models
16GB - $499.00
32GB - $599.00
64GB - $699.00

Wi-Fi + 3G
16GB - $629.00
32GB - 729.00
64GB - $829.00

Ipad Wi-Fi + 3G models will be released at the end of April, while the Wi-Fi only version will be shipped tomorrow. However I believe it’s worth waiting to get the Ipad Wi-Fi + 3G model because of the extra connectivity.
